We’re looking for a customer-oriented Junior Implementation Engineer to join the Customer Services team for our client Secomea.
This role is ideal for you who’s got a knack for technical innovation, some networking and coding experience and a keen interest in client collaboration. Your responsibilities and daily tasks will be to help clients during the implementation process of the Secomea solutions. More specifically, you’ll:
- Configure remote access systems, AzureAD and networks
- Advise clients on best practices for remote access, identity management and security
- Monitor system health and troubleshooting technical issues
- Collaborate with the Secomea R&D and vendors on problem-solving and configuration
- Provide 2nd level support to keep clients satisfied and systems secure
- Ensure thorough documentation of network configurations and recording all customer interactions
The technologies you might be interacting with daily include HTML, CSS, Python, Linux, Bash, Shell, MQTT, Azure AD, Network infrastructure, Servers, Microsoft Graph API, IT protocols (VNC, SSH, RDP), OT protocols (OPC UA, Modbus TCP, TIA Portal, MQTT).

However, since the job combines complex network and systems functionality with business and IT aspects, it would be a huge advantage if you already:
- Have a background within technical network and are ready to expand your horizons
- Know of the following: OT cybersecurity, OT networking, network experience at the CCNA level, IAM or PAM.
- Understand and write Shell scripts, potentially also understand some Python
- Have the ability to understand and analyze clients’ technical needs
- Have a problem-solving approach and are ready to take on complex projects proactively
Additionally, since Secomea has clients all over the world, it is a must that you have excellent communication skills in English and can make complex concepts clear to both technical and non-technical people.
