For our client, a scale-up tech company in Copenhagen, we are looking for an experienced Agile Release Manager.
You will be responsible for orchestrating and managing the release process across multiple agile teams. You will work closely with product managers, development teams, quality assurance, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and high-quality releases.
Beyond release management, you will also be a champion for data-driven decision-making, taking part in implementing and maintaining agile team metrics and dashboards to foster team development.
Your Responsibilities will be:
Release Management:
- Plan, coordinate, and execute software releases, ensuring alignment with product roadmaps and release schedules.
- Manage release dependencies and risks, proactively identifying and mitigating potential roadblocks.
- Communicate release plans and status updates to stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement in the release process.
- Manage and maintain release tools and infrastructure.
Agile Metrics and Dashboards:
- Cooperating with relevant R&D stakeholders to define and implement key agile metrics to track team performance focusing on release and quality assurance metrics.
- Cooperating with relevant R&D stakeholders to design and develop interactive dashboards to visualize team performance and provide actionable insights.
- Facilitate regular reviews of the content and implementation of team metrics with relevant R&D stakeholders.
Your background and profile
We expect that you have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field. You have proven experience as an Agile Release Manager, preferably in a fast-paced software development environment. Also, you have a strong understanding of agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
Furthermore, you have experience with release management tools and processes, as well as with implementing and managing agile metrics and dashboards (e.g., Jira, Confluence, other BI tools).
Experience with CI/CD pipelines is a plus, as will agile and infrastructure practice certifications (e.g., Certified Scrum Master, Certified Product Owner, ITIL).
As a person you have excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills. You have the ability to influence and motivate teams, and have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
