For our client Verifi Finance in central Copenhagen, we’re looking for an entrepreneurial Senior Software Engineer who combines exceptional engineering skills with a strong sense of ownership and a drive to solve meaningful customer problems.
At Verifi Finance, they believe great software starts with understanding the problem, not writing the code. They are building an AI-native platform that transforms complex, manual accounting workflows into reliable, intelligent automation — helping finance teams spend less time validating data and more time creating value.
This isn’t a role where you’ll simply pick up tickets and implement predefined solutions. You’ll work closely with their founders and customers to uncover problems worth solving, challenge assumptions, shape the product, and take ideas from concept to production.
You’ll have the opportunity to influence technical decisions, build across the stack, experiment with emerging AI capabilities, and help define how they build and scale the company

The Challenge (What you will build)
You will dive deep into the day-to-day chaos of accounting workflows, extract the logic, and write software that automates, validates, and quality-controls financial data.
- The “Hardcore” Logic:
You will translate messy, human-centric accounting processes into strict, “hardcore” business logic. This requires understanding the why behind a transaction, not just the how. - Data Ingestion (Intelligent Document Processing):
You will build pipelines that ingest raw financial documents, cleaning and structuring that data for their system. - LLM & Predictive Integration:
You will build AI agents that don’t just “chat”, but take real-world actions and amaze users to their core. - Workflow Automation:
You will identify bottlenecks in Verifi Finance’s customers’ daily lives and code them out of existence. - UI:
You will not shy away from contributing to UX and state management (client side) of the product.
The Verifi Finance Tech Stack
- Core: TypeScript (Must be god-level). They value type safety and strict standards.
- Data: Deep understanding of Databases. You know how to model financial ledgers and ensure data integrity.
- AI-Assisted Workflow: At Verifi, they move fast. They expect you to be proficient with Cursor, Claude, and Gemini to accelerate boilerplate and refactoring. They’d love to see how you do it your way.
- The “Plus” List: Experience with Python, Go, Rust, or Java is highly valued for backend performance and data processing.

- Startup Mindset: Previous experience working in a startup environment is a strong plus.
