Would you like to be part of developing the secure remote access management platform that enable companies to connect, monitor and optimise industrial machines from anywhere around the globe?
For our client Secomea, we are looking for experienced C developers to be an important part of their Tunnelling and Networking development team.
Secomea is headquartered in Herlev, close to Copenhagen, with offices in China, Japan and North America and has partnerships with a global network of distributors. They have dedicated themselves to helping businesses leverage the power of Industrial IoT. The company is on a mission to continue to elevate industry standards with a solution that exceeds international security requirements, focusing on scalability and ease of use.
As an experienced C developer in this team, you will be programming secure, high performance, high availability, network-oriented servers on Linux – and on Windows and embedded platforms as well. Therefore, a good understanding of and attention to cybersecurity aspects of networking systems and protocols are preferred.
More specifically, you need to be comfortable with most these topics:
- C on a senior level with good understanding of C++
- Linux and preferably Windows or embedded systems as well
- Cryptography, X.509 certificates, CA, PKI, RSA, MbedTLS, TLS and OpenSSL.
- Networking in general with deep understanding of IP, TCP, UDP and HTTP
- Security; secure by design but also development processes
- GitLab and containerization
They need team players that thrive in a rapid growing environment. More specifically we are looking for strong and passionate backend developers with an eye for continually improving the quality of the code base.
At Secomea, they develop everything from hardware, firmware, and low-level kernel code to HTTP-based APIs and react front-ends. They do not expect employees to have experience in all their technologies and they may consider the right candidate with no experience in any of them but a solid record of accomplishment. If you have experience with most of the above technologies, that will, of course, be a plus.
You can expect
They work in teams, so they hire for teams. They don’t only look at the skills you have but also at who you are. At Secomea, they believe that the right person for the right team is more important than the skill set you have right now. They expect each team to be able to drive the architecture of their solution within some guard rails. Each team maintains its build and deployment pipeline, continuously improves its ways of working, and collaborates with other teams to improve the organization.
The company is gradually moving towards continuous delivery of their applications, and it is important that you wish to support and enhance a culture of software craftsmanship best practices including test automation & continuous integration and delivery.
They try to create and maintain teams that their employees enjoy being a part of. You will therefore be expected to be an excellent teammate and adopt the Secomea spirit.
